If at least one of the criteria is not met, you are not eligible for the online visa. This does not prevent you from applying for a so-called “traditional” visa directly in the passport via the nearest consular authorities.

The point of entry is the first place you arrive in India from abroad, not necessarily the final destination (stopover).
The e-Visa allows stays of 30 or 90 days (Tourism) or 180 days (Business) maximum. It is non-extendable and non-convertible.
Your passport must be strictly valid at least 6 months after your estimated date of arrival in India.
